Privacy Policy
Your photos stay on your device.
Effective 30 September 2026
Who we are
CelestHue Pro (“CelestHue”, “the app”) is made by Invisica Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (company number 9338286). This policy explains what information the app and this website handle, and why. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
The short version
- Your photos are analysed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- There is no account to create, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the app.
- We collect crash reports and basic diagnostics so we can fix problems, and anything you choose to send us as feedback.
- We don’t sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Your photos
CelestHue reads the photos you choose - from your photo library, or from folders, memory cards and external drives you select - and analyses them on your device to sort them into Selections, Review and Archive. The results are stored on your device.
When you export, the app writes metadata (such as ratings) into your photo files or into sidecar files next to them, and can move files into folders you choose. All of this happens on your device and in the locations you select. Your photos and the analysis results are not sent to us.
Information we collect
Crash reports and diagnostics
When the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to our crash-reporting provider, Sentry. A report can include your device model, operating system and app version, the error details, the app screens you visited before the problem, and your IP address. We use this information only to find and fix problems in the app.
Feedback you send
If you use the in-app feedback options, we receive what you enter: your message, any ratings, and any screenshots or images you choose to attach. Feedback is delivered to our team by email, and attached images are stored on our cloud storage (Cloudflare). Sending feedback is always optional.
Diagnostic logs you share
The app can create performance logs on your device. These are only shared if you choose to export them, using your device’s share options, to a destination you pick.
Permissions the app uses
- Photos and media / storage: to read and analyse the photos you choose, and to write metadata and organise files where you ask.
- Internet: to send crash reports and any feedback you submit.
- Camera and microphone: not used by CelestHue Pro.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell or rent your information. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., United States) - crash reporting and diagnostics.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) - delivering feedback and storing feedback images, and hosting parts of our services.
These providers may process information outside New Zealand. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Crash reports are kept only as long as needed to diagnose problems, and are deleted automatically under our provider’s retention settings. Feedback is kept as long as it is useful for improving the app, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Security
Information sent from the app to our providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Your choices and rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 20 working days. Because your photos never leave your device, deleting the app and its data removes them from CelestHue entirely.
Children
CelestHue Pro is made for photographers and is not directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
This website
If you join the waitlist or send us a message through this website, we receive the email address and details you provide and use them only to respond or to send you updates about CelestHue. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
